Where did these items come from?

If you are a returning student, you may have noticed crates scattered around in accommodations towards the end of the academic year. These crates served as donation points for students that were moving out so all these items have come from fellow students!

Where does the money go?

To you!

All the money we raise through our stalls will go directly towards funding our beloved Community Larder so that we can keep it stocked throughout the year.

A range of second-hand items on a stall

What was available at last year's sustainability stall

Why should you buy second-hand?

Everyone knows and hears news of climate change, waste pollution, overflowing landfills and all things not so eco-friendly. Yet, we often find it difficult to do something to help.

Buying items second-hand is an easy and simple way for you to do your part. Additionally, its cheap! Its a great way to save on costs whilst not sacrificing quality. All the donations we received were sorted, ensuring nothing broken or damaged makes its way onto our stalls, and cleaned with dishwashers.

So the real question is, why wouldn't you buy second-hand?

Its a win-win situation for all!
